This is the time period during which the detector waits for the next objects after the first object in the group is detected. If the specified number of objects (specified in the Number of alarm objects parameter) are detected within this time period, the detector generates an event. If no additional objects are detected within the specified time period, the detector doesn't generate an event. 
Specify the time period in seconds when events will be held when responding to a group of objects. The value must be in the range [0, 86400]

  • The group of objects that must cause the detector to generate an event is specified in the Object class parameter.
  • The number of objects that are considered a group is specified in the Number of alarm objects parameter.
  • Waiting time for the next objects after the first object from the group is detected is specified in the Event hold time (secs) parameter.

For example, you select the Person object class, the Number of alarm objects is 3, the Event hold time (secs) is 2 seconds, and the Trigger on group of objects parameter is enabled. If the detector detects the first person and detects others within two seconds, these people are considered a group, and the detector generates an event.
