Assessing an alarm event allows you to assign statuses to different alarm events based on their significance and criticality.
To assess an alarm event, go to the Alarm management mode (see Switching to the Alarm management mode). To assess an alarm event, use use the group of colored buttons in the lower left corner of the Alarm Management management window.
After assessing the an alarm event, the the Surveillance window on the given Client automatically switches to the Live Video mode. The corresponding alarm event is no longer in the Alarms tabthe Alert tab and is assigned a specific status.

In the case of multi-user alarm event processing, only the first operator who switched to the Alarm Management management mode can assess the an alarm event (if they have the appropriate permissions). For the rest of the operators, the alarm event assessment buttons are not displayed. |

When you click the button, a window opens with the possibility of setting the visibility area for the roles whose users will be able to see the alarm, as well as change the alarm priority for the selected role.

You can specify the time within which an alarm event must be taken into processing, otherwise it is assigned the Skipped status (see Configuring Alarm processing).
