  • The Store no less than parameter allows storing the deeper archive for the selected camera by means of archives of other cameras. We recommend setting the Store no less than parameter no more than 30% of cameras on each server in the distributed system, as this is an advisory setting. If there is not enough space for archive recording, then the setting is ignored, and loop recording doesn’t stop anyway (see General information on video archiving). When the setting is ignored, the Event viewer displays the 'Ignoring "Keep no less than"' message.
If you create at least 10 cameras on the server, then the corresponding warning appears when attempting to set this parameter for more than 30% of cameras on the server after clicking you click the Apply button.
  • You can disable it using the NotifyAbout_arch_days parameter of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\AxxonSoft\Axxon PSIM\Video registry key (see Registry keys reference guide).
  • The Store no more than parameter allows specifying the time period after which you must remove the archive. You can remove the archive earlier than the specified time period if it is required by the loop recording. Checking for files that must be removed is performed every 10 minutes at system time (starting with the 1.0.0 version—every 10 minutes after starting Axxon PSIM). If the removing process takes more than 10 minutes, the next check starts 10 minutes after the end of the current removing.

titleNote

The Store no less than and Store no more than parameters define determine calendar time. For example, if you set Store no more than two days, the archive files are removed exactly two days after they are recorded, regardless of how many hours of recording they contain.

Set the FileSystem.MinMaxHoursFromNow=0 parameter of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\AxxonSoft\Axxon PSIM\Video\FileSystem registry key to enable time counting from the last archive record timestamp (see Registry keys reference guide).
