The BACnet devices are created automatically during the devices search (see Activation of the BACnet Wrapper module and the BACnet devices search). No additional configuration is required.
To add a BACnet device manually or to configure a BACnet deviceTo search devices supporting BACnet protocol in local network, do the following:
- Go to the the Bacnet Device object settings panel, which is created on the basis of the Bacnet Server Server object.
- In the Search time field: set the period of time during which the system will query the network for BACnet devices.
- Click the Search devices button.
The search for BACnet devices will be performed and the corresponding objects will be created in the object tree as a result.

If the PC where the search for devices is performed has several network connections, it is recommended to disable all the connections except the connection to the local network that contains the BACnet devices. |
The settings panels of the created object tree provide the following information:
- IP address field (1) enter the IP address of the BACnet device.
- In the Port field (2) enter the port of the BACnet device.
- In the ID field (3) enter the identification number of the BACnet device.
- Click the Apply button (4) to save the changes.
Configuring the BACnet device is complete.
