To configure create the Entrance In Area in area detector, do the following:
- Create the required
detection tool - detector and specify its parameters (
see - see Configuring detectors and their sub-detectors).
- Below the created
detection tool- detector,
click - click Create… → Entrance
In Area- in area.
By default, the detection tool detector is enabled and set to generate events when an object enters the detection area.
If necessary, you can change the detection tool detector parameters. The list of parameters is given in the table:
Parameter | Value | Description |
---|
Other |
Enable | Yes | The detection tool detector is enabled by default. To disable the detection tooldetector, select the the No value value |
No |
Name | Entrance In Area in area | Enter the detection tool detector name or leave the default name |
Event hold time (sec) | 2 | Info |
---|
| The parameter is taken into account only if the the Trigger on group of objects parameter parameter is enabled. | This is the time period during which the detection tool detector waits for the next objects after the first object in the group is detected. If the specified number of objects (specified in the the Number of alarm objects parameter parameter) are detected within this time period, the detection tool detector generates an event. If no additional objects are detected within the specified time period, the detection tool detector doesn't generate an event. Specify the time period in seconds when events will be held when responding to a group of objects. The value must be in the range [0, 86400] |
Type | Entrance In Area in area | Name of the detection tool detector type (non-editable field) |
Advanced settings |
X-axis offset | 15 | Specify the X-axis and Y-axis offsets as a percentage of the track area to receive events from the specified area. The values must be in the range range [1, 40] |
Y-axis offset | 10 |
Basic settings |
Maximum object height | 100 | Specify the maximum object height as a percentage of the frame size for the detection tool detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [0.05, 100] Note |
---|
| The values of the maximum object height must be equal in the settings of the Object Tracker and Entrance In Areathe Object tracker and Entrance in area. |
|
Maximum object speed | 500 | Specify the maximum object speed per second for the detection tool detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [0, 500]. Info |
---|
| In - In Axxon One, speed is a conditional value that is calculated using values of different dimensions. The speed calculation algorithm takes into account both the frame width and its height.
- For a visual understanding of the speed values, we recommend specifying the speed when searching the archive (see Configuring minimum and maximum object speed).

|
Maximum object width | 100 | Specify the maximum object width as a percentage of the frame size for the detection tool detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [0.05, 100] Note |
---|
| The values of the maximum object width must be equal in the settings of the Object Tracker and Entrance In Areathe Object tracker and Entrance in area. |
|
Minimum object height | 0.1 | Specify the minimum object height as a percentage of the frame size for the detection tool detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [0.05, 100] Note |
---|
| The values of the minimum object height must be equal in the settings of the Object Tracker and Entrance In Areathe Object tracker and Entrance in area. |
|
Minimum object width | 0.1 | Specify the minimum object width as a percentage of the frame size for the detection tool detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [0.05, 100] Note |
---|
| The values of the minimum object width must be equal in the settings of the Object Tracker and Entrance In Areathe Object tracker and Entrance in area. |
|
Minimum speed | 0 | Specify the minimum object speed per second for the detection tool detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [0, 500] Info |

|
Number of alarm objects | 2 | Info |
---|
| The parameter is taken into account only if the Trigger on group of objects parameter is enabled. |
This number determines the minimum number of objects that are considered a group and can generate an event. Specify the number of objects that can cause the detection tool detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [1, 100] |
Object class | All classes | Select the object class that must generate an event. The default value is is All classes Info |
---|
| - When you create
the Entrance In Area detection tool below the - the Entrance in area detector as a child object of the Object tracker and select
the - the Person
value- value, there won't be any events if the tracker detects the movement of several people nearby.
- When you create
the Entrance In Area detection tool below - the Entrance in area detector as a child object of the Category: Face
and - and Category: Vehicle
detection tools, the - detectors, the Object class
parameter - parameter must have
the - the All classes
value- value.
|
|
Vehicle |
Person |
Trigger on group of objects | Yes | The parameter is disabled by default. If you want the detection tool detector to generate an event only for a group of objects, select the the Yes value Info |
---|
| - The group of objects that must cause the
detection tool - detector to generate an event is specified in the Object class parameter.
- The number of objects that
is - are considered a group is specified in the Number of alarm objects parameter.
- Waiting time for the next objects after the first object from the group is detected is specified in
the - the Event hold time (sec) parameter.
For example, you select the the Person object object class, the Number of alarm objects is is 3, the Event hold time (sec) is is 2 seconds seconds, and the the Trigger on group of objects parameter is enabled. If the detection tool detector detects the first person and detects the others within two seconds, these people are considered a group, and the detection tool detector generates an event. |

By default, the entire frame is a detection area. If necessary, in the preview window, you can reduce the detection area (see see Configuring a detection area) and/or set one or more skip more skip areas (see see Configuring a skip area).
