To configure create the Entrance In Area in area detector, do the following:

  1. Create the required
  2. detection tool
  3. detector and specify its parameters (
  4. see
  5. see Configuring detectors and their sub-detectors).
  6. Below the created
  7. detection tool
  8. detector,
  9. click
  10. click Create…  Entrance
  11.  In Area
  12. in area.

By default, the detection tool detector is enabled and set to generate events when an object enters the detection area.

If necessary, you can change the detection tool detector parameters. The list of parameters is given in the table:

Event hold time (sec)2
Info
titleNote

The parameter is taken into account only if the the Trigger on group of objects parameter  parameter is enabled.

This is the time period during which the detection tool detector waits for the next objects after the first object in the group is detected. If the specified number of objects (specified in the the Number of alarm objects parameter parameter) are detected within this time period, the detection tool detector generates an event. If no additional objects are detected within the specified time period, the detection tool detector doesn't generate an event.
Specify the time period in seconds when events will be held when responding to a group of objects. The value must be in the range [0, 86400]

X-axis offset15Specify the X-axis and Y-axis offsets as a percentage of the track area to receive events from the specified area. The values must be in the range range [1, 40]

Basic settings
Maximum object height100

Specify the maximum object height as a percentage of the frame size for the detection tool detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [0.05, 100]

Note
titleAttention!

The values of the maximum object height must be equal in the settings of the the Object tracker and Entrance In Area and Entrance in area.

Maximum object speed500

Specify the maximum object speed per second for the detection tool detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [0, 500].

Info
titleNote
    In
  • In Axxon One, speed is a conditional value that is calculated using values of different dimensions. The speed calculation algorithm takes into account both the frame width and its height.
  • For a visual understanding of the speed values, we recommend specifying the speed when searching the archive (see Configuring minimum and maximum object speed).
Maximum object width100

Specify the maximum object width as a percentage of the frame size for the detection tool detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [0.05, 100]

Note
titleAttention!

The values of the maximum object width must be equal in the settings of the the Object tracker and Entrance In Area and Entrance in area.

Minimum object height0.1

Specify the minimum object height as a percentage of the frame size for the detection tool detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [0.05, 100]

Note
titleAttention!

The values of the minimum object height must be equal in the settings of the the Object tracker and Entrance In Area and Entrance in area.

Minimum object width0.1

Specify the minimum object width as a percentage of the frame size for the detection tool detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [0.05, 100]

Note

The values of the minimum object width must be equal in the settings of the the Object tracker and Entrance In Area and Entrance in area.

Number of alarm objects2
Info
titleNote

The parameter is taken into account only if the Trigger on group of objects parameter is enabled.

This number determines the minimum number of objects that are considered a group and can generate an event.
Specify the number of objects that can cause the detection tool detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [1, 100]

  • The group of objects that must cause the
  • detection tool
  • detector to generate an event is specified in the Object class parameter.
  • The number of objects that
  • is
  • are considered a group is specified in the Number of alarm objects parameter.
  • Waiting time for the next objects after the first object from the group is detected is specified in
  • the
  • the Event hold time (sec) parameter.

For example, you select the the Person object  object class, the Number of alarm objects is is 3, the Event hold time (sec) is is 2 seconds seconds, and the the Trigger on group of objects parameter is enabled. If the detection tool detector detects the first person and detects the others within two seconds, these people are considered a group, and the detection tool detector generates an event.

No

By default, the entire frame is a detection area. If necessary, in the preview window, you can reduce the detection area (see see Configuring a detection area) and/or set one or more skip more skip areas (see see Configuring a skip area).

Info

  • For convenience of configuration, you can "freeze" the frame. Click the Image Modified button. To cancel the action, click this button again.
  • The detection area is displayed by default. To hide it, click the Image Modified button. To cancel the action, click this button again.

To save the parameters of the detection tooldetector, click the Apply Image Modified button button. To cancel the changes, click the Cancel Image Modified button button.

Configuration of the Entrance in area detector is complete.
