The Web-server object is used for viewing the video surveillance information from an Internet browser and TCP/IP communication environment. The settings panel of the Web-server object is shown in figure.
Table describes the parameters of the settings corresponding to the elements of the settings panel of the Web-server object.
№ | Parameter | Method for setting the parameter value | Parameter description | Symbols used | Default value | Value range |
1 | Identification number* | Automatically | Displays the identification number of the Web-server object in the digital distributed video surveillance system. | Sequence of numbers | - | From 1 and above. Depends on the number of the Web-server objects in the digital distributed video surveillance system. |
2 | Name* | Type-in the value in the field | Sets the name of the Web-server object in the digital distributed video surveillance system. | Latin, Cyrillic and service characters | Web- server | A line containing a sequence of any symbols (letters, digits, service characters apart from > and < symbols), not case-sensitive Number of symbols – from 1 to 60. |
3 | Disable | Checkbox | Sets the state of the Web-server object (enabled or disabled) in the digital distributed video surveillance system. | Boolean type | No | Yes – the Web-server object is disabled and is not in use No – the Web-server object is enabled and is in use |
4 | Computer | Selected in the list | Sets the parent Computer object of the digital distributed video surveillance system, to which the given Web- server object refers. | Name of the Computer objects registered in the system | Name of the parent Computer object | Depends on the number of the Computer objects in the digital distributed video surveillance system |
The HTTP-server group | ||||||
5 | Port’s number | Type-in the value in the field | Sets the number of the port used by the HTTP server (for video surveillance with the Web-browser via the Internet). | Sequence of numbers | 80 | Any allowable port numbers which are not in use. The number of ports is defined by the system administrator. |
6 | Amount of connections | Type-in the value in the field | Sets the maximum allowable number of connections to the video server via the Web-server module. Each request to view the camera feed and each request to control all PTZ devices is considered as a user connection. | pcs | 100 | Any integer. In the case where 0 value is specified, video signals will not be displayed on the Web-server monitor. |
Without a group | ||||||
7 | Default user | Selected in the list | Sets the user with rights and authorities to conduct video surveillance from the Remote Workstation via the Web-server | The names of users registered in the system and added to the rights | Not set | Depends on the number of users registered in INTELLECT™ |
The Cameras group | ||||||
8 | Number | Selected in the list | Sets the number of the camera video from which is transmitted to the remote workstation using the Web-server module. | IDs of the Camera objects registered in the system | Not specified | Depends on the number of cameras in the distributed video surveillance system. |
9 | Camera | Selected in the list | Sets the name of the video camera video from which is transmitted to the Remote Workstation via the Web-server module. | Names of the Camera objects registered in the system | Not set | Depends on the number of video surveillance cameras in the digital distributed video surveillance system |
10 | Video stream | Selected in the list | Sets the number of the video stream used for displaying in the Web-server interface | Numbers of video streams enabled on the camera and the By default value | By default | Depends on the number of enabled streams on the camera. |
11 | Live video | Selected in the list | Sets the source of live video to be displayed in the Web-server interface | Available means to get live video | Server | Server – live video is received from the Server to which the camera is connected. Videogate – live video is received from the Videogate. If a camera is not configured to transmit video through the Videogate, then this item is unavailable in the list. |
12 | Archive | Selected in the list | Sets the source of archive footage to be displayed in the Web-server interface | Available means to get archive video | Server | Server – archive footage is received from the Server to which the camera is connected. Videogate – archive footage is received from the Videogate. If a camera is not configured to transmit footage through the Videogate, then this item is unavailable in the list. Backup archive – archive footage is received from the Backup archive |
13 | Microphone | Select from a list | Specifies the name of microphone associated with the camera from which the sound will be passed through the Web-server | Names of registered Microphone objects in the system | Not specified | Depends on the number of microphones in the video surveillance system |
14 | Speaker | Select from a list | Specifies the name of speaker associated with the camera which will be in use to playback sound received from the client | Names of registered Speaker objects in the system | Not specified | Depends on the number of speakers in the video surveillance system |
15 | Compressionn | Selected in the list | Sets the compression ratio for video transmitted to Remote Workstations via the Web-server module. The higher the compression ratio the worse the video signal is. | Reference compression ratios | Not specified | Not specified, 1 – 5. Value “1” corresponds to minimum compression ratio, “5” – to maximum. If the compression ratio is not specified, video signal is transmitted with the same compression ratio as set for recording and transmitting video |
16 | Control | Selected in the list | Sets the camera control (arm/disarm, PTZ, recording to the archive) in accordance with user rights. | Boolean type | Enabled | Enabled – camera control in accordance with user rights is enabled. Disabled – camera control is disabled regardless of the user rights. |
17 | Add all | Click the button | Adds all video cameras installed in the digital distributed video surveillance system to the list of cameras video from which is transmitted to the Remote Workstation via the Web-server | - | - | - |
18 | Clear | Click the button | Removes all video cameras from the list of cameras video from which is transmitted to the Remote Workstation via the Web-server | - | - | - |
