The restore mode is used to reinstall all Intellect components. Use this function when, for example, some files were accidentally deleted from the installation directory.
To launch the restore mode, you need to restart Intellect installation without deleting the previous version. To restore Intellect correctly, make sure that the distribution package is located in the same path as it was during installation or that the operating system is configured to save the *.msi files in the cache.
Note
To reinstall Intellect correctly, close all applications on the computer before the reinstallation startup.
To restore Intellect, do the following:
- Open the folder containing the unpacked distribution package.
Run the Setup.exe executable file used for running Intellect installation program.
As a result, the Installation wizard dialog box is displayed.Note
The following files may be run for restoring Intellect instead of Setup.exe:- Product.msi – to restore Intellect;
- Redist.exe – to install additional components.
- Choose the language of installation dialogs and click the Install button.
- Select the Edit / Restore type and click the Next button.
- Set the checkboxes next to the components that need to be restored and click the Install button.
Intellect restore dialog box will be displayed.
When the restore process is finished, the Installation complete dialog box will be displayed. - Click the Finish button.
Intellect is now restored.
