To search for moments of an object loitering in an area, do the following:

  1. In the Surveillance window, specify the area that you want to analyze during the search in accordance with the selected condition (see Motion in area).
  2. In the Metadata source field, select the metadata source from the drop-down list if there are several for this camera. This parameter isn't displayed if there is only one source.
  3. In the Duration of stay field, set the minimum duration of stay in the area in seconds and minutes. Search results contain recorded video in which the object is present in the area for longer than the set time.
  4. Specify any number of additional parameters by clicking the button, if necessary (see Configuring the search parameters).
  5. Set the search interval (see Setting a search interval).
  6. Click the Search button.

    Note

Once started, the search can be stopped at any time. To do this, click the Stop button, which appears instead of the Search button.

The found moments are displayed in the search results panel.
