The Identification number field

Automatically

Displays the identification number of the Monitor interface object in the system.

Sequence of numbers

Depends on the number of the Monitor objects in the system.

The Name field

Enter the value in the field

Defines the name of the Monitor object in the system.

Latin, Cyrillic and service digits

Monitor

A line containing a sequence of any symbols (letters, digits, service characters apart from > and < symbols), not case-sensitive

Number of symbols – from 1 to 60.

The Disable checkbox

Set the checkbox

Defines the mode of the Monitor object (enabled or disabled) in the system.

Boolean type

Yes – the Monitor object is disabled and is not in use

No – the Monitor object is enabled and is in use

The Display drop-down list

Select in the list

Sets the parent Display object  for the given Monitor object.

The X field

Enter the value in the field

Set the X coordinate in the horizontal axis for the upper-left corner of the Monitor interface box

The Show captions checkbox

Shows the captions for cameras of the Monitor interface box.

In large distributed systems it is recommended to disable captions on those monitors where captions are not planned to be shown in order to decrease the number of redundant events.

Select value from the list

Specifies the procedure of video stream compression which is in use for video signal recompression for displaying on the Monitor. The value is to be selected in the Compression list if the compressor is specified.
