A counter is a tool that allows you to count any values based on events.   You can create and edit counters in the Programming tab.

Attention!

You can apply counters within a single Axxon domain only. If counted values go up or down over the limit, you cannot enable counters from another Axxon domain.

When creating a counter,  select one or more events that increase the value of the counter, and one or more events that decrease the value (see Creating and configuring counters).

By default, the counter value is 0, each selected event increases or decreases it by 1.

Attention!

The counter value is reset to 0 when:

  • Serve restarts;
  • Counter settings change.

In practical terms, counters can be used, for example, to count visitors at a site or facility. In this case, counting is based on faces captured by cameras with facial recognition installed at the entrance and exits.

Counters can be added to the map (see Adding counters), and managed it both from the map (see Controlling devices from the map) and using a macro (see Managing the counter).
