Documentation for AxxonSoft Mobile Clients.

When you connect to the Server, the Cameras tab is displayed. It contains all cameras of the Server.

Attention!

Display of cameras in the mobile app depends on the settings of the user role. If the user role doesn't have access to a camera in Axxon One, the corresponding cameras and related events aren't displayed in the mobile app (see Roles).

To display cameras of a particular layout, group (in Axxon One, see Configuring layoutsConfiguring video camera groups), or monitor (in Axxon PSIM, see Configuring video display on Video Surveillance Monitor), you must choose the corresponding layout, group, or monitor by selecting the Server name in the upper left corner of the screen.

If many camera layouts or groups are added to Axxon One, after selecting the Server name, you can select a specific layout or group in the corresponding tab.

To search by layouts or groups, select the button.

To update the list of cameras, for example, if the Server configuration is changed, swipe the screen down.

To search by cameras, select the  button.

By default, only active cameras are displayed on the Cameras tab. In order to display all cameras, including disactivated cameras, go to the tab settings, select and in the window that opens, set the Show disactivated cameras checkbox.

If you want to enable the display of live video in multicam, set the Live video in multicam checkbox.

By default, live video in multicam has the MP4 over HTTP play method. To change the method:

  1. Set the Live video in multicam checkbox.
  2. Select the Play method menu item. In the window that opens, select any of the methods:

  3. You can also set the Keyframes stream checkbox.

    Note

The checkbox is displayed only if you select the MP4 over HTTP or MP4 over websockets method.

  4. Select OK to save the changes.

Note

  • You can change the size of multicam by pinching or stretching the multicam with two fingers.
  • When you connect to the Axxon One Server, for the cameras with multistream support, the stream with the lowest resolution is displayed by default.
  • When you connect to the Axxon PSIM Server, the cameras display the video stream that is specified on the settings panel of the Web-server object in the Video stream parameter (see Bulk selecting and configuring cameras for the Web-server).
  • If you set the Log collection checkbox (see Configuring debugging in the AxxonNet mobile client on Android OS) in the app settings, live video in multicam won't be displayed when you connect to the Axxon PSIM Server.
