Video archiving procedure

Configuration of video archiving consists of the following steps:

1. Selecting the disks for video archive storage.
2. Switching off/on the auto alarm recording mode.
3. If a camera supports multistreaming, then select streams that are to be recorded to the archive upon alarm and those for continuous recording (see Configuring the multistream video).
4. Setting video frame rate and other video stream parameters if the multistream mode is in use (see Configuring the multistream video).

5. Configuring video in the Hot recording mode.

   Note.

    If different streams are selected for recording upon alarm and for continuous recording (see Configuring the multistream video), then hot recording is not performed.

6. Configuring video in the Pre-alarm mode.
7. Configuring video in the Post-alarm mode.
8. Configuring audio and video synchro recording.
