Attention!

In order to integrate with ECHD, you must use the credentials of Axxon PSIM user that don't contain special characters (\, /, :, *, *, ?, |, ", and so on) in the login and password. This is a feature of receiving a stream via RTSP.

Integration with Single Data Center (ECHD) is supported in Axxon PSIM. Requests to Axxon PSIM from ECHD are made via HTTP API (see Axxon PSIM HTTP API). Some requests have http/https interface. These requests are used to get info on configuration. The RTSP Server bound to the Web-server object streams live and archived video.

Besides binding of the RTSP server to the Web-server, the ECHD channel objects must be created on the basis of the required Camera objects for the operation of the ECHD requests.

To enable the ECHD request processing and bind the RTSP Server object for ECHD request processing, do the following:

  1. Go to the Basic settings tab on the settings panel of the Web-server object (1).
  2. Set the ECHD translation checkbox (2).
  3. If the Servers of the surveillance system are behind NAT when interacting with ECHD, set the Use NAT address checkbox to substitute the router address into the ECHD requests (3).

    Note

    The address and port of the router are set during the configuration of the RTSP Server object.

  4. Go to the RTSP settings tab and set the checkboxes next to one or several RTSP Server objects that you created and configured earlier.
  5. Click the Apply button.

The RTSP Server objects are now bound to the Web-server.
