To configure the object of the Server OPC UA integration module, do the following:

  1. Go to the settings panel of the Server OPC UA object.

  2. In the Connection address field, specify the full URL of the OPC server (TCP/IP address and port of the server to connect to), for example, opc.tpc://localhost:4840.
  3. In the KeepAlive interval (ms) field, specify in milliseconds the period of time after which the communication with the OPC server is broken. The default value is 5000.
  4. In the Node name filter field, specify a filter by name in the nodes when downloading objects, if necessary. For example, if you specify the string value, only those OPC server objects with the word "string" as part of the name are created when downloading.
  5. In the Password field, specify the user password for authorization on the OPC server, if necessary.

    Note

If you don't specify the username and password, the connection is anonymous.

  6. From the Security mode drop-down list, select the security mode:
    1. None (default),
    2. Sign
    3. Sign and Encrypt.
  7. From the Security policy drop-down list, select the security policy mode:
    1. None (default),
    2. Basic128RSA15
    3. Basic256
    4. Basic256SHA256.
  8. By default, the False value is selected in the Use source time field. We recommend synchronizing the time between the Axxon One server and the OPC server. If time synchronization between the Axxon One server and the OPC server isn't possible, you must select the True value, so that additional event parameters come at the time used by the OPC server.
  9. In the Username field, specify the username for authorization on the OPC server, if necessary.
  10. Click the Apply button to save the settings.
  11. Click the button and select Download configuration from the drop-down list.
  12. Click the Apply button to save the settings.

Configuration of the object of the Server OPC UA integration module is complete. As a result of the connection, a hardware tree of the OPC server is read:
