It is recommended to use the CARMEN-parking module for LP recognition of vehicles speed of which is not exceeded 25 km/h.

Setting up the CARMEN-parking program module is done in the following way:

  1. Go to the Hardware tab in the System settings dialog window (1).
  2. In the objects tree on the Hardware tab select the CARMEN-parking object, corresponding to the set CARMEN-parking program module (2). The settings panel of the selected object will open on the right side of the window.
  3. In the Recording frame rate field enter the value of recording frame rate per second (3).

  4. Enter the value in the Number of frames for recognition field (4).

     Specified number of frames for recognition is sent to the LPR channel each 3 seconds. Recognized number will be displayed in case of the same license plate will be recognized at least on two frames.

  5. Enter the value in the Number of lanes field (5).
  6. Click Apply to save the changes (6).

Setting up the CARMEN-parking program module is completed.

Recognition of the same license plate is performed once per 10 seconds.
