Setting up the AxxonSoft program module is performed in the following way:

  1. Go to the Hardware tab in the System settings dialog window (1).
  2. In the objects tree on the Hardware tab select the AxxonSoft Module object, corresponding to the set AxxonSoft program module (2). The settings panel of the selected object will open on the right of the window.
  3. Enter the value of minimal validity of recognition in percent in the Minimum validity of license plate type recognition (0 - 100)% field (3). Validity is defined by the degree of similarity between results of recognition and the LP template and it allws distinguishing the LP from other marks on the vehicle.
  4. Select one of the radio-buttons in the Hypotheses group - show one most probable license plate hypothesis, or show all license plate hypotheses (4).
  5. Click Apply to save changes (5).

License plate number is considered correctly recognized if at least for one hypothesis corresponding to the license plate the following condition is fulfilled: sequence of LP symbols is contained in hypothesis. Errors of recognition the similar by spelling symbols are allowed. For example, 'D'–'0'–'O', 'B'–'8', '2'–'Z', '5'–'S', 'Y'–'V', 'I'–'1'.
