Purpose of integration the Intellect software package with FSA/ACS device

• Provide user interface on the same software in the context of different security equipment subsystems.
• Configure cause-and-effect connection between different subsystems (video surveillance, FSA, ACS, audio registration, etc.).
• Use network capability of the software.
• Joint marketing promotion of integrated solution by software and hardware manufacturers.

Integration technology:

Technologically integration is a synchronization of information streams between software and FSA/ACS hardware. There are four main information streams between software and FSA/ACS hardware.

• Hardware events.
• Software control.
• Software configuration. Send configuration from Hardware (auto configuration).
• Request-response of current hardware state.

Ways of integration:

1. Low-level protocol. Events, reactions, configuration commands as the byte set are programmed to the software.
2. SDK – Software Development Kit. Events, reactions, configuration commands, state requests as functionas are programmed to the software.
3. Communication server (Program-driver) – program layer between ITV | AxxonSoft software and hardware in which events, reactions, configuration commands, state request are built in. COM-server and OPC-server are examples of these programs.
4. SOFT-SOFT. Events, reactions, configuration commands, state requests are programmed on the level of two software packages. Database synchronization is a way of SOFT-SOFT integration on the level of joint using one database by two software packages, e.g. for access to event log.
