The face recognition modules functionality is activated using a key file.

Replaсing the current key file with a new one initializes the software functionality update during the next system start.

The structure of the Face Intellect software package is shown below:

Two licensing schemes may be used for Face-Intellect modules:

1. Channel-based licensing, i.e. the key file is purchased for a number of cameras used with the module on a pay-per-camera basis.
2. Face-based licensing, i.e. the key file is purchased for a number of reference faces stored in the module database.   

The module licensing also depends on the selected base module (engine):

1. Tevian base module does not require purchasing any additional key files.
2. Cognitec and VisionLabs base modules may require purchasing additional key files.

The licensing scheme and the available base modules for each Face-Intellect module are listed in Table.
