If it is necessary to use network disks for working with archive in Intellect™ that is installed as a Service you should add them by setting UNC path, the following way:
If network disk is added not by setting the UNC path, then recording on it is unavailable in Intellect is installed as a Service mode. |
If INTELLECT™ is installed as a Service on Windows XP OS, it is impossible to record on network disks. |
Recording on network disks in INTELLECT™ installed as as a Service is performed only in case when INTELLECT™ is started under some user (not under SYSTEM) and the user is logged in the system. When the user who belongs to the IntellectUsers group logs in the system, INTELLECT™ is restarted automatically on behalf of this user. Both network disks and UNC path are available for recording. If the user logs off the system, INTELLECT™ will restart under system account and all network disks are unavailable.
