A motion in the area detector is a tracker detector that operates when the object (objects) makes some actions in a virtual area that is in the camera coverage.
To configure a motion in the area detector, do the following:
Make necessary operations with an area. Area operations are shown in the table.
Operation | Result |
Left mouse click in the video surveillance window | Area’s nodal point addition |
Hover to a nodal point and holding the left button pressed move the mouse | Area’s nodal point shift |
Hover to a nodal point and press right mouse button | Line deletion. If there are three nodal points the whole area will be deleted |
To select an object type for which the detector will trigger, click the symbol. Available object types are given below.
Vehicle. Detector triggers while dealing with any vehicle
Detection of the following object types can be configured using scripts and registry keys: human, group of humans (with a possibility to count number of people in a group), car, noise, object carried into the area, object carried out of the area, other. To select a detector type, click the symbol. Available detector types are given below.
Any motion in the area. Detector triggers due to any motion in the area
Entrance into the area. Detector triggers due to object’s entrance into the area
Exit from the area. Detector triggers due to the exit of object from the area
Appearance in the area. Detector triggers due to the object’s appearance in the area
Disappearance from the area. Detector triggers due to the object’s disappearance from the area
Stop in the area. Detector triggers due to the object’s stop in the area
Presence in the area for more than 10sec. Detector triggers due to the object’s precense in the area for more than 10sec
Abandoned item. Detector triggers due to the item abandoned in the area
To clear the preview field from a visual element (area), click the Clear button (2). |
