Installing the STC recognition module

By default, the STC face recognition module is not included in the Face Intellect distribution kit. Therefore, to install the STC face recognition module, it is necessary to request the archive with the STC recognition module from the AxxonSoft technical support. After you receive the archive, extract its contents into the <Face Intellect installation directory>\Modules\FaceRecognition\STC\ folder.

Configuring the frame skip

If it is necessary to skip the video frames, do the following:

1. Go to the <Face Intellect installation directory>\Modules\FaceRecognition\STC\profiles\ folder.
2. Open the default.xml configuration file for editing.
3. Set the false value to the MultiTracker_exhaustiveTracking key. The default value is true.
   
4. Set a larger value to the MultiTracker_detectionFrequency key (within the fps range). The default value is 2.
   
5. Save changes to the default.xml configuration file.
6. Restart Intellect.

The frame skip is configured.
