SIP Panel is designed to work with SIP-devices (see Configuring SIP-devices).
SIP Panel provides the following functions:
The interface of the SIP Panel is shown in the figure:
The number of the current SIP-operator is indicated in the upper right corner of the SIP Panel.
The address book is in the upper part of the window, it contains the numbers added for the current SIP-operator during the SIP-terminal configuration. To call a number from the address book, double-left-click on it. The dialing panel is displayed in the middle of the window.
To make a call from the panel, select a number in the address book or dial the number manually, and then click on the button to start a video+audio call, or the
button for an audio call. In both cases, both video and audio are transmitted from the SIP-device, but in the second case, the video stream from the operator’s camera is not sent to the device.
If camera, microphone and/or dynamic were selected for operator while configuring the system and if the SIP devise supports the corresponding function, then video and audio are transmitted to the SIP device from the operator's microphone and camera – see also Selecting speaker, microphone and camera for SIP operator. |
During the call, the SIP Panel window will be displayed on top of all windows and will look like this:
The buttons at the bottom of the panel provide the call control:
Enable/disable the operator's camera.
Enable/disable the operator’s microphone.
Enable/disable the operator’s speaker.
Hold the call. A window will open with a list of all incoming calls that can be accepted/resumed using the buttons
(with the video from the operator) and
(without the video from the operator):
The video and sound from the SIP device continue to be received in Intellect in the Hold mode while the video and sound from the SIP operator's camera and microphone are not transmitted to the SIP device. |
Display/hide the tone dialing panel. This panel allows the use of commands added while configuring the SIP device (see Configuring SIP-device connection to Intellect SIP-server).
End the call.
If the Display only when calling option was enabled during the system setup, the SIP Panel is not displayed if there are no incoming calls (see Configuring the SIP Panel interface object). In this case, you can initiate a call using a macro command, or from the Map using the Call (forward/take) command in the function menu of the SIP-device — as a result, the SIP Panel window will be displayed.
