To ensure the Vehicle Type Recognition Module operation, it is necesary to install the Detector Pack subsystem (see Detector Pack. User Guide), and configure any software module for license plate recognition (see Activating the program module, used for identifying the plates).

The video camera requirements for the Vehicle Type Recognition Module operation are shown in the following table.

Camera specifications:
  • It is recommended to use color cameras. When using black and white cameras, the detection quality can be noticeably worse.
  • Video resolution should be at least 640x480.
Images of objects:
  • Vehicle area should be at least 10% of the frame area.

The hardware and software requirements are shown in the following table.

CPUIntel Core and Intel Xeon 6-8 generations and Intel Pentium® processor N4200/5, N3350/5 are supported.
GPU

Only NVidia GPUs are supported. It is possible to use several video cards in one system.

Video card requirements:

  • minimum 2 GB of memory;
  • support for Compute Capability 3.0 or later. Please check the Compute Capability version of the video card on the manufacturer's page.
