To install, update or modify Axxon Next on Linux OS, it is necessary to use the programs and commands described in this document. If you use third-party programs, Axxon Next may not work correctly.

The following features are currently not available in Axxon Next operating on Linux OS:

  1. POS devices (see Configuring POS devices).
  2. Web Boards (see Working with Web Boards).
  3. Intel Quick Sync Video (see Hardware-based decoding with Intel Quick Sync Video).
  4. Upgrading Servers within a cluster via the supervisor Web-Interface (see Upgrading Servers within a cluster).
  5. Upgrading remote Clients on any OS via Server on Linux OS (see Automatic update of a remote Client).
  6. Axxon Next Tray Tool.
