This setting is only available in the extended mode of the Export box. Click >> in the bottom right corner to display it.

Following export modes (container types) are available:

  1. Export Without data conversion in Original format. Export is performed in format of file system of the Intellect software package, i.e. format in which archive is stored on a disk. Export without conversion is not available for Edge Storage.
    The following functions are NOT available in this mode:
    1. Watermark is not added to the video.

    2. Captions enabling and disabling are not available while export. If archive record have captions, they will be exported. While switching on the no data conversion position the Captions checkbox is set automatically and becomes not available for editing.

    3. The conversion is not available: the Display as on monitor screen check box is hidden.

    4. Export in .exe format is not available.
  2. Export to AVI, MKV, MP4, FLV, ASF file in Original format without change of codec. The following restrictions should be considered:
    1. ASF format does not support MxPEG, h265, MPEG, MW codecs
    2. MP4 format does not support MxPEG, MW codecs
    3. FLV format does not support H265, MxPEG, MPEG4, MW, MJPEG codecs
    4. MKV format does not support MW, MxPEG codecs.
  3. Export to AVI, MKV, MP4, FLV, ASF file with Recompression to specified format. Video codec is specified using the Video format button, audio codec is specified using the Audio format button.
    The following functions are available in this mode:
    1. If fisheye conversion, rotation or scaling is applied to the image in the Surveillance window, then in order to export the video using this conversion, it is necessary to set the Display as on monitor screen check box (see Image processing). The video is stored in the archive in the original format, and when being exported, the video angle is selected at the current moment for the camera in the Surveillance window.
    2. A watermark is added to the video when export to AVI, MKV, MP4, FLV, ASF format is selected in the original or set format. This watermark is overlaid on the video when archive footage is replayed in AxxonPlayer (see Watermarks).

100 fps will be displayed in the properties of the exported AVI file. This value is set by software, as the frames of the original video can be arranged unevenly. When exporting, frames are allocated so that the final AVI file is played smoothly.

The size of the exported AVI file is limited to 1.97 GB. For other formats and modes, there is no size limit.

While clicking the Video format button the dialog window in which codec and compression ratio are to be selected will open.

While clicking the Audio format button the dialog window in which format of audio file and set of sound quality parameters or ready settings profile are to be selected.

While exporting to AVI, MKV, MP4, FLV, ASF it is possible to specify size of exported file using the same-name switch. If size of the exported file will be more than specified value, then the file will be divided into several parts - volums. Positions of the Exported file size switch correspond to following ways of defining the volume size:

  1. CD – size of these files is sutable for record on CD-disk (670 MB).
  2. DVD – size of these files is sutable for record on DVD-disk (4,7 GB, for AVI file – 2 GB).
  3. Divide by alarms – division into files is performing if there are pauses between records. Alarms are not considered while permanent record.

  4. Specify volume size in megabytes in the field for entering. Do not set this field to more that 2048 MB for AVI file: if larger value is set, the files will still be no larger that 2 GB.
