In the Axxon One structure, the term Branch refers to the Node – an instance of the Server services. 

Each Customer object can consist of an unlimited number of Branch objects.

To create a Branch, do the following:

1. On the Domains tab, click the button on the required Customer.
2. In the upper right corner, click.
3. Enter the Branch name (1).
   
4. If necessary, fill in the additional description fields of the branch (2). 
5. Set the archive depth in days (3).
6. Set the number of cameras to be used in the branch (4):
   1. with constant recording to the archive;
   2. with embedded detector;
   3. with face detector; 
   4. with object tracker.
7. Click Apply.

The process of creating a branch and a network archive will be started, the size of the network archive will be calculated automatically.

After the process is completed, the status of the branch will change to active and the web client and supervisor will become available.

Click to edit the branch or to delete it.

During the update, the branch will have the updating status. If the update fails, the branch returns to the last working state with the active status and the error indicator: .

If the branch failed to be created, it has the not created status. Click to retry the creation.
