The HUAWEI face recognition module is configured in the following way:

1. Activate the HUAWEI face recognition module (see Activation of the recognition module in the Face Intellect software).
2. Download and install the HUAWEI SecoClient utility.

3. Run the installed utility as an administrator and connect to the HUAWEI servers.

4. After establishing the connection, go to the HUAWEI Recognition Module configuration panel.
   
5. In the Face Recognition Service (1) field, specify the IP address of the YITU Face Recognition Service.
6. Click Update (2) to update the repository list (face databases).
7. In the field (4) check the boxes of the required repositories or add your own by clicking the Add button (3):
   1. In the field (1) specify the repository name.
   2. Click OK (2) to add it to the repository list.
      

   If no repository is selected, then the captured faces data will not be displayed in the Face recognition and search interface module (see Monitoring of captured and recognized faces).

   
   

8. To open the functional menu of the repository list, right-click the required repository and select one of the following menu items:
   1. Add (1) — to add a new repository.
   2. Change (2) — to change the repository name.
   3. Delete (3) — to delete the selected repository.
   4. Delete all (4) — to delete all the repositories in the list.
      

   Updating the repository list and adding a new repository should be performed locally on the server where the face recognition system is configured.

   
   

9. Click Apply (5) to save the configuration.

The HUAWEI face recognition module is configuration is complete.
