After adding cameras to the list (see Selecting cameras), the types of detection tools can be specified for server platform calculation (see Selecting the type of calculation). You can select zero to all detection tool types for each stream. The list of available detection tools depends on the selected software platform (see Selecting software platform). The detection tools cannot be selected to calculate platform for Operator's workstation.

Add detection tools as follows:

  1. Click  in the Video analytics column. 
  2. The detection tool selection form is shown. The detection tools are grouped by type on several tabs.
  3. To select a detection tool, left-click its name. You can select detectors from several tabs.

  4. When clicked, the detection tool is added to the Video analytics group.

    Click  next to the detection tool's name to unselect it.


  5. Having completed the selection of detection tools, click Apply. The detection tool selection form will be hidden.

To change the list of detection tools, click  then follow same steps 2-5 


Platforms calculator does not check if specified parameters match detection tools requirements for cameras. For instance, if specified fps is lower than that required for detection tool to operate, then platforms will be calculated but the calculated platform won’t suit the detection tool requirements.
