Перед установкой Axxon Next:

• Connect each server to a UPS.
• Complete initial Windows setup.
• Set date and time.
• Set a unique Windows hostname for each Server.
• Set new password for local administrator account.
• Синхронизировать время всех Серверов и IP-устройств.
• Create a back-up administrator account. Set the password.

Установка Axxon Next (see Installation, Update):

• Используйте новый диапазон портов 20111-20210.
• PostgreSQL:
  1. По возможности не устанавливать на системный диск.
  2. Не устанавливать на тот же диск, куда пишется архив.
  3. По возможности устанавливать на SSD.
• База данных VMDA:
  1. По возможности устанавливать на SSD для быстроты поиска.
  2. Учесть необходимое место на диске под базу (see Disk storage subsystem requirements). 30 days / 100 cameras ~ 500 Gb.

Начальная настройка:

• Сhange root password.
• For server only: add auto-logout after 1 hour (see Configuring automatic exiting and locking of the Client).
• Create archive before adding cameras (see Creating archives).
• Активировать лицензии (see Creating an activation request, Activation by applying license file).

Cameras configuration (see The Video Camera Object):

• Connect cameras to the servers.
• Проверить, что время всех камер и серверов синхронизировано.
• Добавить камеры в систему (see Adding and removing IP devices, Bulk creation of IP devices). Preferred protocol: ONVIF generic.
• Green stream: sub stream settings should be lower than main stream.
• Codec type: don't use mjpeg *.
• FPS: sub stream fps >= 6.
• Resolution:
  1. Aspect ratio should be the same for main and sub streams *.
  2. Sub stream resolution >= 640x360.
  3. Sub stream resolution <= 1280x720.
• Bitrate:

  1. Recommended type*: VBR + limit.

  2. Recommended bitrate: 1 mbps per 1 MP.

  3. Critical: >2 mbps per 1 MP.
• GOV (aka GOP, I Frame, etc): fps x2 (2 sec) is recommended.
• Protocol: TCP* is recommended.
• Buffer: 500*  is recommended.
