By default, no events are displayed in the Incident manager. It is necessary to explicitly specify the objects, the events from which should be received and processed. To do this:

1. Go to the Filters tab of the Incident manager object.
   
2. In the Objects table, specify the objects, the events from which should be received and processed. If no objects are selected, no events will be displayed in the Incident manager.

   1. From the list in the Type column (1), select the object type.

      Only those object types are available for selection for which the value "INFORMATION" or "ALARM" is selected on the Events tab in the Processing messages column in the ddi.exe utility (see The Events tab).

      
      

   2. From the list in the Number column (2), select the object identification number. If the object number is not specified, events from all objects of the specified type will be logged. After you select the object type and number, the Name field (3) will be automatically filled in with the object name.
   3. From the list in the Event type column (4), select the events to be displayed in the Incident manager. If the event type is not specified, all events of the selected object will be sent to the module.
   4. In the Logic field (5), enter the name of the logic that will be used to process the events of the selected object. Any name can be specified. Logics are configured in the next step (see Configuring the logic of event handling in the Incident manager).
   5. In the Priority field (6), enter the priority number for the events of the selected object (see Setting the events priority in the Incident manager). The priority can be used by the operator to sort the events. If no priority is selected, priority number 0 will be used.

   6. In the Timer(sec) field (7), set the time in seconds from the moment the event occurred, after which the TIME_IS_OVER event will be generated. The timer will also count down the specified time in the interface in the Time(sec) column until it reaches zero.

      If grouping and/or filtering is enabled, then for groups and filters the timer will apply to the last generated event with the specified timer.

      
      

3. Repeat the actions described in step 2 for all required objects.

   To add a row to the table, select the last row and press the ↓ key on the keyboard. To delete rows from the table, use the Ctrl + Del key combination.

   
   

4. Click the Apply button.
