You can impose a privacy mask upon video image to hide parts of the scene from viewing:
Masking function works only for users whose role has the View Masked Video parameter set to OFF (see Creating and configuring roles).
To configure privacy masking, do the following:
Select the Object Tracker object and click the button.

In the FoV, set the nodes of the closed area you want to obscure.
When the area is being constructed, the nodes are connected by a two-color dotted line which outlines the area's borders. |

Click in the viewing tile | Creates a new area node |
Right-click on a created node | Deletes the area node |
Position the cursor on a node and hold down the left mouse button while you move the mouse | Moves the area node |

You can mask the selected area with black matte (by default), or pixelate it. To pixelate the area, do the following:
Click .
Select the checkbox.
Click the OK button.
Mask configuration is complete. When you view video from this camera, the selected area will be hidden.
