By default, if the response type is not specified explicitly in the request, HTTP API responses are sent in JSON format (see Intellect HTTP API). To enable XML response by default, do the following:

  1. Go to the Events subscription tab on the settings panel of the Web server 2.0 object.

  2. Uncheck the Response type "JSON" by default checkbox (1).
  3. Click the Apply button (2).

If response type is explicitly specified in the request, this setting is ignored.
