To connect multi-channel devices (e.g. DVRs)  over RTSP, do as follows:

1. Go to IP Device Discovery Wizard and open the manual addition field (see Adding and removing IP devices).

2. Select RTSP in the Vendor field (1).

   

3. In Model, select the model name, that shows the corresponding number of device  channels (2). For example, for a four-channel device, select RTSP Device 4 channel.

4. In IP address, enter the device address (3).

   Following  the IP address, add the"; " symbol. Otherwise some channels may fail.

   
   

5. Enter the user name and password (4).
6. Click .

A parent  IP server object will be created hosting a number of video cameras objects equal to the number of channels on the device.

To configure channels, do as follows:

1. Select a child Camera object.
2. In RTSP Stream URI enter the streaming address.
   
3. Repeat the steps for all channels.
