The Rules tab is designed to create and edit the search and face recognition rules. To create and edit the rules, do the following:

1. Set the Show rules from all servers  checkbox (1) to display the rules from all servers.
2. Click the Refresh rules  button (2) to update the rules list. The rules list is displayed in the field (3).
   
3. To create a new rule, click on the + button (4).
4. In the RuleForm window that opens, specify the following parameters:
   1. In the Name field (5), enter the rule name.
      
   2. In the Similarity field (6), specify the similarity percent.
   3. In the Cameras field (7), set the checkboxes for the cameras which images should be displayed when viewing the recognized and captured faces.
   4. In the Repositories field (8), set the checkboxes for the repositories which faces should be displayed when viewing the recognized faces (see The Alarms tab).
   5. Click OK (9) to add the rule.
   The created rule will be displayed in the field (3).
5. To edit an existing rule, double-click the rule in the field (3). In the RuleForm window that opens, make the necessary changes in the same way as creating a rule (see step 4).

Creating and editing the search and face recognition rules is completed.
