By default, the camera ID is displayed in the surveillance window (see The Video Camera Object).

To disable the ID display, do the following:

1. Go to Settings → Options (1) → User Interface (2). 
   
   
2. Clear the Show camera short name checkbox (3).
3. Click the Apply button.
4. Reopen the layout (see Layouts Management).

The camera ID display is disabled.
