When you assign a template, a detection tool is created, which increases the load on the Server. Please consider the CPU load by the detection tool before assigning the template. |
Using the templates, you can apply the same parameters to different cameras. There are 12 default templates:
- Audience counter (secondary stream) – a Queue detection tool is created on a low-quality video stream.
- Constant record – video will be constantly recorded to the archive.
- Face detector – a Face detection tool is created for the camera. The video will be recorded to the archive if the detector triggers.
- Hikvision LPR embedded detector – a built-in License plate recognition detection tool is created for the Hikvision cameras.
- LPR detector – a License plate recognition detection tool is created for the camera.
- Mobotix embedded detector – a built-in Motion detection tool is created for the Mobotix cameras. The video will be recorded to the archive if the detector triggers.
- Moment Quest (main stream), Moment Quest (secondary stream) – an Object tracker and a Motion in area detection tools are created on a high or a low-quality video stream with object tracks recording. The video will be recorded to the archive if the detector triggers.
- Motion Detector (secondary stream) – a Motion detection tool is created on a low-quality video stream.
- People counter detector – a People counter detection tool is created on a low-quality video stream.
- VCA detector (main stream), VCA detector (secondary stream) – an Object tracker and a Motion in area detection tools are created on a high or a low-quality video stream. The video will be recorded to the archive if the detector triggers.

To assign a template to a camera, do the following:
- On the Cameras tab, click the
button in the upper left corner of the camera panel.

- Click the
button - Set the
checkboxes next to one or several templates.

To save the changes, click
. To cancel, click
.

The template is assigned to the camera.

To unassign the template from the camera, click the
button, and do the same actions as for assigning the template.
