Description

The License Plate Recognition RR detection tools are used to:

  1. Recognize license plates of vehicles. List of supported countries:
    Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Argentina, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Indonesia, Italy, Ivory Coast, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Myanmar, Netherlands, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uruguay, USA (starting with Detector Pack 3.12), Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam
  2. Write the recognized license plates into a database
  3. Check the recognized license plates on the lists of license plates
  4. Determine the vehicle driving direction

Depending on the features required, Axxon One offers three types of the License Plate Recognition RR detection tools:

  1. License Plate Recognition RR recognizes license plates in real time. Recognition is performed in the Fast mode (video stream processing at a speed of up to 30 FPS).
  2. License Plate Recognition RR—Search In Archive recognizes license plates in the archive. Recognition is performed in the Fast mode (video stream processing at a speed of up to 30 FPS). This detection tool generates events with a 30-second delay after the license plate recognition.
  3. License Plate Recognition RR—Parking recognizes license plates in real time. Recognition is performed in the Slow mode (video stream processing at a speed of up to 6–7 FPS). The sampling rate for the detection tool is 150 milliseconds, all other frames are skipped

In order for the detection tools to operate in Windows Server 2012 R2 OS, you must install the Media Foundation component in the OS beforehand.

The Vehicle Recognition RR detection tool is used to:

  1. Recognize the color of a vehicle: Beige, White, Yellow, Green, Brown, Red, Unknown, Orange, Gray, Blue, Purple, Black
  2. Recognize the class of a vehicle: Bus, Car, Truck, Unknown, Mini truck, Motorcycle
  3. Recognize the make and model of a vehicle
