Half-frame processing must be performed using the image interlaced scanning (the Process half frame checkbox is set). If the half-frame processing is enabled, when the next frame is received, a new frame is created and processed, consisting only of the even rows of the initial frame. By default, the LPR channel processes the half-frame.

When the full resolution is used, a half-frame must not be processed, and the Process half frame checkbox must be clear.

Frame processing settings are specified only when using the following program modules: AUTO-UraganAR-Auto, AR-Railway, VT, IV.

To set the frame processing, do the following:

  1. Go to the settings panel of the LPR channel object, corresponding to the activated module (see Activating the program module, used for identifying the plates).
  2. Set the Process half frame checkbox (1).

It is recommended to always set the Process half frame checkbox in order to decrease the CPU load.

  3. Click the Apply button (2).

The frame processing setup is now complete.
