To add the ONVIF Profile M embedded detection tools, do the following:

1. Start the Axxon Next Client.
2. Add the ONVIF device to Axxon Next (see Adding and removing IP devices).
3. Configure recording to an archive (see Configuring recording to an archive).
4. Configure the parameters of the ONVIF device (see The Video Camera Object).
5. On the Detection Tools tab, create the required embedded detection tool below the ONVIF device (see Creating detection tools). Names of the ONVIF Profile M detection tools start with Rule.
   

   In Axxon Next, embedded detection tools of an IP device always have the "Embedded" prefix. The number of detection tools that are supported by the ONVIF protocol depends on the IP device.

Adding the ONVIF Profile M embedded detection tools is complete. Events from embedded analytics are displayed in the events feed (see Checking the Triggering of a Detection Tool).
