To configure the network settings of the SIP client, do the following:

  1. Go to the settings panel of the SIP-terminal object.
  2. Set the Terminal type switch to the SIP client position (1— the SIP-terminal acts as a client and can connect to any SIP-server (based on Axxon PSIM or the Asterisk software). When you select this terminal type, the Server connection settings become available.
  3. In the Server connection settings group:
    1. In the Address field (2), specify the IP address of the SIP server.
    2. In the Port field (3), specify the port to connect to the SIP server.
  4. In the Terminal settings group:
    1. From the Network drop-down list (4), select the IP address of the network adapter that is used to connect to the network where the SIP clients are located.
    2. In the SIP port field (5), specify the port number that receives the data from clients via the SIP protocol.
    3. From the SIP transport drop-down list (6), select the used transport level protocol: TCP or UDP.
    4. If necessary, set the RTP port range in the corresponding text fields (7).
  5. Click the Apply button (8).

Configuring the network settings of the SIP client is complete.
