Axxon PSIM allows you to select the video image processing mode prior to displaying it using the video card resources and DirectX libraries.
The video image processing improves the quality of the displayed image due to optimization of the color settings, spatial smoothing, and other processes of the graphics optimization. At the same time, the CPU load is reduced, as the video image is processed with the resources of the video card.
When you select a display mode, consider if it is supported by the installed video card. If you select a mode that is not supported by the video card, the video signal will not be displayed correctly on the Video surveillance monitor (with a strong slowdown).
There are four display modes in Axxon PSIM:
If the fisheye camera added to the Monitor has the corresponding settings described on the Configuring fisheye cameras page, the Monitor switches to the Direct3D mode automatically. |
For correct operation of display mode in Axxon PSIM installed as a service, set the 0 value for the NoDesktop text parameter in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer registry section. This parameter is responsible for displaying icons on the user's desktop. |
To select a display mode, do the following:
Select the required display mode from the Display drop-down list in the Basic settings tab.
There is a description of the selected display mode in the field below the Display drop-down list. |
The display mode is now selected.
