The Input object is displayed on the Detection Tools tab after you enable it on the Hardware tab (see Input).

You must configure the Input object on the Hardware tab.

On the Detection Tools tab, you can perform the following actions for the Input object:

1. You can check events from a detector using the event feed (optional) (see Checking events of a detector).
2. Configure Automatic rules that are executed when an event is received from a detector (see Automatic rules).
