To connect the Client to the Server behind NAT, do the following:

1. Set the router public IP address (see Network settings utility).

   The router public IP address must be static.

   

2. On the router, forward the gRPC API 20109 port to the internal IP address of the Server port 20109.

3. Start the Client and specify the router external IP address and the gRPC API 20109 Server port in the connection settings (see Ports used by Axxon One).
   

   When connecting the Client from an external network, only those Servers that have access to the external network will be available in the Axxon-domain configuration (see Consolidating the Servers from different networks into Axxon domain). If several Servers belonging to different domains are located behind NAT on the same LAN, you must assign a unique gRPC API port to each domain and forward it. To change the port, you must create the NGP_NATIVE_BL_PORT system variable and assign it a value corresponding to the required port (see Appendix 9. Creating system variable, Configuring the Server ports).

Example.

To connect the Client to the Servers behind NAT, do the following:

1. From one of the Servers, forward port 20109 to the router public IP address.
2. On the router, configure the forwarding of:
   1. The router port 20109 to the internal IP address of the Server port 20109.
3. When connecting the Client, enter the router public IP address and port 20109.
