There are several types of archives in Axxon PSIM:

1. Video server archive (main archive).
2. Backup archive.
3. Videogate archive.
4. Edge storage archive.

To limit access for the operator to play back a particular type of archive, do the following:

1. In the System settings window, go to the Users tab (1).
2. In the object tree in the lower left part of the screen, select the User permissions object (2) corresponding to the operator access permissions that you want to change.
   The settings panel of the User permissions object opens on the right.
   
3. On the Access to archive tab, you can set access parameters for each archive type.

   1. In the Depth ___ last hours field (3), specify the number of hours available for viewing.

      The number of the last hours of archive available for viewing must be an integer.

      Enter the 0 value in the Depth ___ last hours field to disable access to the archive.

   2. If the hours since the last login to the system are counted, set the Since last access checkbox (4). If the hours must be counted since the current moment, then leave the Since last access checkbox clear.

      If the Since last access checkbox is set and the number of hours available for viewing is specified, then the last hours are counted until the registration moment. If the Since last access checkbox is set, but the Depth ___ last hours field is left blank, the access to the main archive playback is not limited.

4. Click the Apply button (5).

Limiting access to archive playback for the operator is complete.
