Typical tasks for detecting personal protective equipment are the following:

  1. Detection in gateway conditions. A gateway is a border, which can be either a virtual line or a door, a barrier, or a turnstile. The algorithm for working in gateway conditions is the following:
    1. A person stops in front of an area where PPE is required.
    2. A person poses in a way where the presence of all items of equipment can be estimated (an item must not be overlapped by a person himself, other equipment items, items of clothing).
    3. Human screening. There must be no obstacles between a person and a camera, blocking a person for screening.
  2. Detection in production conditions: people move freely in the detection area.

By default, the Equipment detection tool (PPE) is configured for detection in gateway conditions.
