Tag&Track Lite is a predictive video surveillance feature designed to automatically track an object as it moves between cameras’ fields of view. The system calculates in real time the camera most likely to see the tracked object. This is done by analyzing the object's tracking data and a map containing all the necessary cameras, their fields of view, and intersections. This feature allows for continuous monitoring of the object's movement without manually searching by time or camera. The feature is compatible with all types of surveillance cameras, except fisheye cameras.

To use Tag&Track Lite, do the following:
Enable Object tracking in the surveillance window of each selected camera on the layout.
Specify the exact location of each camera on the map (see Configuring a camera in standard map viewing mode). Configure the intersection areas of the fields of view for all adjacent cameras. Intersection areas are essential for tracking objects. The size of an intersection area must be at least three times the size of a typical tracked object (for example, a person).
To track objects using Tag&Track Lite on a layout in the live mode (see Live video surveillance), do the following:
Calculates the next possible camera based on tracking data and camera mapping.
Separates out the camera containing the object on the layout to attract the operator's attention. If this camera isn’t present on the current layout, the system automatically displays a layout containing it.
To continue automatic tracking, select the same object in the new camera's field of view again. The cycle repeats.
To track objects using Tag&Track Lite in the archive mode (see Video surveillance in the Archive mode), do the following:
Determines the camera in the field of view of which the object could move.
Automatically starts playback from the calculated time when the selected object could appear in that camera's field of view.
In some situations, Tag&Track Pro (see Tag&Track Pro) and Tag&Track Lite can run simultaneously.
For example:
You set Tag&Track Pro to Manual mode or User priority mode in the Priority parameter (see PTZ);
You select an object for Tag&Track Lite in the field of view of a camera that is added as an overview camera for Tag&Track Pro (see PTZ).
In this case, both Tag&Track Pro and Tag&Track Lite are enabled, and the following occurs simultaneously:
PTZ camera tracks an object;
the system calculates the camera in the field of view of which the selected object can appear.
