New features and improvements

1. Completely redesigned the internal transport mechanism of Axxon PSIM.
2. x86 modules are no longer supported. We removed the option to install x86 modules.
3. Optimized module connection to the kernel.
4. Added the ability to encrypt all types of traffic using certificates installed in the system.
5. Updated the mechanism of synchronization of the system configuration to be more reliable and modern. Added a mechanism of forced synchronization that you can start by clicking the Synchronization button on the Programming tab.
6. Improved the G2 CASH protocol, added support for new notifications 
7. Improved the Receipt viewer module.

Other

1. Receipts from new weighing terminals are now processed correctly when the first item is weighed before the event of the receipt start; added buffering and reordering of events 
2. If the plugin initializes unsuccessfully, an error is now displayed in the log file and the MixForward utility window.
3. The time of receipts saved in the database is now in UTC format.
4. Updated and improved documentation.

Version features

POS PSIM 2.0 is compatible with Axxon PSIM 2.0. For the detailed information about the compatibility of product versions, see here.

You can download the current version of the POS PSIM 2.0 distribution package from the AxxonSoft official website or request it from technical support at support.axxonsoft.com.

When you update from an older version of POS PSIM, you don't need to uninstall the previous version, as the new version is installed over the old version. For details, see Installation.
