Axxon PSIM allows connection of various devices and 3d party software solutions. In some cases, additional vertical solutions (POS PSIM, ACFA PSIM) need to be installed for such a connection.
Most devices are integrated into Axxon PSIM by means of the Drivers Pack that is installed with the Axxon PSIM Server. It contains integrations for video cameras, decoders, PTZ devices, sensors, control panels and other hardware. A complete list of devices is given in the file for the corresponding version of the Drivers Pack (see Drivers Pack Documentation). The Release Notes indicate the versions of Drivers Pack that are included in the distribution package. You can see the version of the installed Drivers Pack in Information about program, in the list of installed Windows OS applications or in tweaki.exe. The Release notes for Drivers Pack versions indicate the compatible versions of Axxon PSIM.
For more information on how to reinstall the Drivers Pack, see Using the Product.msi and Redist.exe for Axxon PSIM installation.
If you need to use the hardware that was included in the outdated versions of Drivers Pack that are no longer supported (below 3.0), we recommend connecting via ONVIF, WebPlayer, etc. (see Connecting devices over standard protocols, Configuring getting video from web cameras via HTTP protocol). If this isn’t possible and you need to use the hardware, contact the AxxonSoft technical support and find out the reintegration possibilities.
