Saving an archive when replacing a video signal device

In Axxon One, you can save an archive in case you want to replace a camera, NVR, or any other source of video signal.

To do this, do the following:

1. Go to the Devices tab.
2. Delete the required device, but before deleting, memorize its identifier from the ID field.
   

3. Create a new device in the system. Specify the same identifier in the ID field and an old archive in the Bind to the archive field (see Searching, adding, configuring, and removing IP devices).
   

   Attention!

   • Device model, IP address, and any other device parameters can differ from the previous one.
   • If you replace NVR, cameras must be connected to the same channels as before.
4. Click the Apply button.

After you create a new device with the old ID, the archive recorded earlier will be available in the system.
